Formal testing and evaluation of technologies that have a potential impact on public health practice. These evaluations use a framework and template developed by the IRDU team to develop a quantitative and qualitative review of how a technology can be useful for public health.

This evaluation focused on EpiCollect, a data collection tool designed for iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android devices to allow epidemiologists to rapidly design forms, share forms with a small group and use the forms to collect data directly using their mobile device.
